In 7th grade, my iPod got stolen while I was playing basketball lol. Pretty dumb on my part.
I used to sell candy at school Freshman year to make some extra pocket change, there’s no doubt people stole a couple candy bars from me.
I’ve learnt that don’t trust anyone and that there are some people out there who care. If someone offers you help don’t act like you don’t need it and that you’re all strong and independent. Everyone needs help once in a while whether its to get back on your feet or to finish something. Matthew Nario is honestly one of the nicest guys I have ever met and he only talked to me for 10 minutes but that 10 minutes made me not so depressed. He told me things I already knew but needed to be reminded. It’s nice to be reminded these things once in a while.

You are who you want to be. No one could ever change that. You, yourself, are the only person capable of making up who you are. With that being said, if you want to be a screw up, so be it. No one can stop you. If you want to be successful, no one can stop you. If you want to change, you will change. You are the only person in the world that has that power. You can do it, but only if you want to. It’s amazing what a little change in mindset can do for you. I just want you to know that you can do it. You say you don’t have any accomplishments? You can change that. You say you don’t have good grades? You can change that. You say you don’t have a bright future? You can change that. You can change anything and everything. Don’t leave it up to your parents, friends, anyone. In the end, it all comes down to you. You know this by now, but this is just a reminder. You can do it.

I’m tired of people seeking happiness in a significant other. I’m tired of people acting like they need someone in their life like that. You don’t. There are way too many girls, and sometimes even guys, who try to find someone to make them happy. Don’t be so dependent on someone. Never place your happiness in the hands of someone else but your own. A lot of people miss being in a relationship and so they try and look for one. Don’t try and find a relationship, let the relationship find you. A lot of people think they’re lonely without a significant other. You’re not. You have amazing people around you. You have family, you have friends. You have you. The only thing that’s preventing you from being happy is yourself. You’re too focused on finding someone to comfort you in that way, that it inhibits yourself from being happy. Realize that you don’t need anyone else. Appreciate the people around you.
